Record your Mac’s Screen
Wish you could show off how you built your super cool tower in Minecraft (ask your kids what that is, or kids you know under the age 15) or just need to record something you’re doing on your Mac? Then you’ll want to fire up QuickTime Player.
Yes, QuickTime Player. To open it from the Finder click the “Go” menu then “Applications”. Now when you’re ready to record, click “File” then “New Screen Recording.”
You’ll be able to record the whole screen or part of the screen. You can choose where to save the recording once you’re finished.
If you want more advanced features, look into ScreenFlow or Capto.
