Siri’s Smarter Upgrade? Still in the Works
Apple previously teased a more intelligent version of Siri – one that could understand on-screen context, respond more personally, and interact seamlessly with apps. While that update was expected as part of the Apple Intelligence rollout, Apple has now confirmed it’s not yet ready.
The new Siri is now slated for release sometime in 2025, likely alongside iOS 19 and macOS 16. In other words, it’s still a ways off.
In the meantime, we’d love to see improvements to what Siri is supposed to do. Many tasks still fall short of expectations, even without the next-gen features.
