Email Large Video Files

What to do if your video (or any) file is too large to email.

Emily of MacITPros Facebook Page posed a question to the Email video from iPhoto post. Her video was too large to email. The way around this is to use a service like WeTransfer.com it’s free and easy to use. When you get to the site, click Add Files, navigate to the files you want to send, click choose. Put in your friend’s email address (the person you want to send to), then your email address. You can type a message as well. Your friend will get an email with a link they can use to download your video. I’ve used this site before without issue, but remember you are giving a third party your email address and a friend’s email address. Learn more about WeTransfer and decide if it is the best choice. Other options would be Dropbox.com and hightail.com.
